TAKE MY MEASUREMENTS

Before ordering your window film, it is essential to take the correct measurements of your windows. Accurate measurements ensure a flawless result and easy installation without waste of material.

Prepare your equipment

To measure your windows, you simply need:

  • A measuring tape ideally a metal one for better accuracy
  • A notepad or your smartphone to record the dimensions
  • Optionally an erasable marker if you want to mark the edges on the glass

Measure the glass surface only

Measure only the glass surface and not the window frame. Place your tape measure on the inside of the seal and note:

  • The width left to right
  • The height top to bottom

We recommend measuring the width in two places L1 and L2 and the height in two places H1 and H2. In both cases, use the largest measurement.

Repeat the process for each window, even if they seem identical as small differences may exist.

Add a small safety margin

For a clean cut and error-free installation, we recommend adding:

  • 1 to 2 cm of extra margin in both width and height. This makes it easier to adjust the film during installation, then trim the excess with a cutter.

Place your order with complete confidence

Once your measurements are checked:

  1. Go to the product page of the film of your choice heat control, decorative, mirror, etc.
  2. Enter your dimensions in the order form
  3. Select the installation type interior or exterior depending on the film

Your film will then be cut to measure for perfect, bubble free installation.
